Maker Night is a weekly event held on most Wednesday evenings from 5:00 to 8:00PM, September though June. This event is specifically for local High School and Undergraduate College Students. Maker Night provides an opportunity to explore laser engraving, 3D printing, light beginner woodworking, electronics, vinyl cutting and other creative technologies in a welcoming, hands-on environment. There are no memberships required to participate and it is free to enter. However, there are some small material and machine use fees. Although we do carry some common materials, participants may need to supply specific materials themsleves.
Maker Night is a self directed environment. Staff members are available to provide guidance and ensure safe equpment use, but participants are encouraged to learn independently and seek help from other maker participants.
Maker Night is designed to support individual prototype projects and not a production type of facilty.
• Maker Nights are for individuals ages 15-21 to enter.
•For those ages 15-17 a guardian signed permission slip is required.
